VERY RARE! GEBRUDER HEUBACH #8050 ANTIQUE GERMAN LAUGHING GIRL BLUE BOW 9". This rare, hard to find adorable smiling girl, is 9” inches /23 centimeters Tall. Marked in the back of the head: first with the number 2, underneath 80 the squared Heubach 50 underneath Germany (and green numbers). Circa 1910, Pink-tinted bisque socket head, In great condition. Only minor, very little fly bites due to the original fire of the head, some dirt doe to aging, and some wear on the bottom ring of the head (show in a photo that you can magnify) blond sculpted hair with details of little curls at the forehead and her sculpted ears, her hair drawn into two long braids which are interwoven at her nape, and highlighted by a glazed aqua-blue sculpted ribbon and bow, deeply-sculpted facial features, intaglio upper glancing eyes with pronounced black pupils and white eye dots, brush-stroked short brows, accented nostrils on rounded nose, closed mouth modeled as though open with broad generous smile, beaded upper and lower tiny teeth. The composition and wooden fully-jointed body are not in that great shape, but look original to her.The body has lots of worn and some pealing as you can see in the photos, but looks stable, stand very strong and can keep a pose (please look all the photos are an important part of the description) also look like her left feet has being repair ( not a very good job).This beautiful girl is wearing pretty antique white dress, petticoat, pantaloons and newer shoes. Condition; in general, is very god.The face of this doll is a great rarity of the model is rivaled by the exemplary and outstanding sculpting of facial planes and laughter dimples and creases.
